David Smith, an orthopedic surgeon on staff at the Advanced Orthopedic Institute at Ingalls Hospital, will host a free seminar on shoulder, knee and hip pain from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight (8/23) at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St., Tinley Park.
Smith will discuss joint-related problems such as pain, arthritis, rotator cuff injuries and meniscal tears of the knee as well as provide an overview of the anatomy and latest surgical procedures for repair of the shoulder, knee and hip. Participants will be able to ask questions after the presentation.
